On November 25, the Health Day was held in the Zaķumuiža Sports Hall and elementary school. Visitors to the Health Day could take part in a lecture led by students of public health and nutritional science specialties of Inland University of Norway on strengthening immunity and health in the cold period of the year, express themselves in creative classes, promote awareness of a healthy lifestyle and participate in various attractive sports classes. Yoga classes were offered to seniors. All interested parties received a physiotherapist's consultation. At the same time, novus demonstrations and a game were held as an introduction to Latvia's national sport for everyone.
Health Day was implemented in the program "Local development, poverty alleviation and cultural cooperation", which is co-financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway using EEA grants (Project "Integration-related measures in Muceniekos" implemented by Ropaži County Municipality (No. LV-LOCALDEV-0007)) .
