During the Easter holidays, a wide range of cultural events was offered throughout the municipality, one of which took place on 17 April in Līgo Park (Ulbroka), where alongside local residents, asylum seekers from Mucenieki Accommodation Centre for Asylum Seekers and refugees from Ukraine took part in the event. All participants of the event joined together in various thematic-creative workshops, made Easter decorations, watched a concert by the municipality's amateur art groups and a representation of Easter traditions (joint swing decorating and hanging, scaring away bad fairies, singing Easter and power songs, painting eggs, playing games and rolling eggs).
The Easter event was the first activity of the project “Integration Related Measures in Mucenieki”, where asylum seekers participated alongside local residents.
